This summer, Hyde Park has become the home to many events from sport, to festivals, to theatre. Two of these events are perfect for summer holiday outings and a little different to anything else.
A new attraction, Russia.Sochi.Park is the latest event to have found it’s way to London’s favourite park.
Taking place for the duration of the London 2012 Olympic Games, the event includes spectacular ice shows, children’s activities, Russian athletes, and a chance to sample food and drink from across Russia.
It’s a great opportunity to learn about a completely different culture with activities that will appeal to the whole family in the beautiful surrounds of Hyde Park.
The idea is to promote Sochi, the host city of the Winter Olympics 2012. The theme is winter wonderland and the main focus will be on the amazing Ice Arena.
26th July — 12th August 2012

The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe
The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe is also playing in Hyde Park this summer, at The Three Sixty Theatre until 9th September 2012.
The theatre is a completely unique experience to any other production space. The show features amazing 3D projection and epic scenery, costume and staging has been enjoyed by thousands of people during it’s run but is soon coming to an end.
The stageshow is an adaptation of C.S Lewis’ classic children’s novel of the same name. We follow Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy on their journey through the wardrobe and into the magical Narnia.
